“We’re all a little weird. And life is weird. And when we find someone
whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall into
mutually satisfying weirdness—and call it love—true love.”—Robert Fulghum
“This life is what you make it. Not matter what, you’re going to mess up sometimes, it’s a universal truth. But the good part is you get to decide how you’re going to mess it up. Girls will be your friends - they’ll act like it anyway. But just remember, some come, somg go. The ones that stay with you through everything - they’re your true best friends. Don’t let go of them. Also remember, sisters make the best friends in the world. As for lovers, well, they’ll come and go too. And babve, I hate to say it, most of them - actually pretty much all of them are going to break your heart, but you can’t give up becuase if you give up, you’ll never find your soul mate. You’ll never find that half who makes you whole and that goes for everything. Just because you fail once, doesn’t mean you’re gonna fail at everything. Keep trying, hold on, and always, always, always believe in yourself, because if you don’t, then who will, sweetie? So keep your head high, keep your chin up, and most importantly, keep smiling, because life’s a beautiful thing and there’s so much to smile about.”—Marilyn Monroe
Hmmm where to start..I dont even have words to describe what I’m feeling. You lied and betrayed me. A good portion of my life has been a lie, you looked me in the eyes, you learned all there was to learn of my soul, and you cheated me. Someone so close to me, your gone and I’m glad.
What a week..seriously what a whirl wind of a week. I found out today that my employer is continuing my job while I move home and get my Masters Degree. At 21 years old my Boss (Big Time DC Attorney) has trusted in me and accepted my offer to move home and work remotely. It was probably the most nerve racking thing I have ever done in my entire life trying to play hard ball with the big boys, but hey it paid off. You never know unless you try, and if you don’t try you’ll never know. Take a chance, even if you know you’ll fail, because you know what you might surprise yourself. I wasn’t planning on this working out, in fact I planned on it NOT working and accepted that I was going back to CO, leaving a job, an apartment, DC life, for what? Colorado…school, but what else? Nothing. I was going home more broke than I ever have been in my life to go live with mommy and daddy? I mean i guess, but it was more than that for me, my happiness was trumphing any of that. I needed to go home for my happiness, I’ve done this grind alone I’ve proved I can literally be alone for 8 months and still come up on top. I get that. But I wanted more. I need to go home and be with those that matter most, because you know what once all the money is gone that’s all you’ll have. Family and friends matter. Real people in your life matter.
I’m blessed. I really am. I’ve been nothing but blessed with great opportunities in my life until this point, and I’m continuing to better myself and move up. I know this risk was the first of big risks I’m going to make for my career for the rest of my life, but now I’m confident I can do it. If I can defeat this Boss (hes an awful corp pig) than I can do anything. I’m going back home confident in my choice. I know I made the right decision and I’m excited for the next chapter in my life.
It’s your life, so be willing to be fully responsible for it. Take charge of your own destiny.
Don’t sit around hoping somebody will give you a break. Get busy and do the work that will enable you to live life fully on your own terms.
Avoid falling into the trap of blaming others for your situation. For when you assign blame to others, you are putting yourself under their control.
Instead, put yourself and your life under your own control. You know what’s best for you, so do what is necessary to make that happen.
If you could use some encouragement, give it to yourself. When there’s something you don’t know how to do, take it upon yourself to learn.
The fulfillment you seek is something you must create as a result of your own responsibility, commitment, discipline and efforts. Get focused, get busy and experience the outstanding joy of living life on your own terms.
Approximately 2/3 of the products sold by Whole Foods Market and their main distributor, United Natural Foods (UNFI) are not certified organic, but rather are conventional (chemical-intensive and GMO-tainted) foods and products disguised as “natural.”
-Great, does anyone else see a problem with this? There is no way to get around these food czars unless your willing to grow your own food which is highly unlikely for most Americans. Moral of the story- were screwed.
